The average one-year CD yield is unchanged at 0.35 percent. The typical five-year CD yield dropped 1 basis point to 1.17 percent. A basis point is one-hundredth of 1 percentage point.
For deposits of $100,000, the average one-year jumbo CD yield is down 1 basis point from last week to 0.39 percent. The five-year jumbo yield is down 1 basis point to 1.2 percent.
The average money market account remains at 0.14 percent for the fifth consecutive week.
