The average one-year CD yield is down 1 basis point to 0.35 percent. The average five-year CD yield also lost 1 basis point; it's now 1.19 percent. A basis point is one-hundredth of 1 percentage point.
For deposits of $100,000, the average one-year jumbo CD yield is unchanged at 0.4 percent. The average five-year jumbo CD yield fell 1 basis point to 1.23 percent.
The average money market account yield ticked down 1 basis point to 0.14 percent.
