The average one-year CD yield is up 1 basis point to 0.32 percent. The average five-year yield is down 1 basis point to 1.05 percent. A basis point is one-hundredth of 1 percentage point.
For deposits of $100,000, the average one-year jumbo CD yield is up 1 basis point to 0.34 percent. The five-year jumbo yield dropped 1 basis point to 1.06 percent.
The average money market account yield remains 0.12 percent.
