Longer-term rates for certificates of deposit moved around a little this week.
The average one-year CD yield stayed the same at 0.31 percent. Down 1 basis point, the average five-year yield is 1.08 percent. A basis point is one-hundredth of 1 percent.
For deposits of $100,000 the average one-year jumbo CD yield fell 1 basis point to 0.33 percent. The five-year jumbo CD yield is down 1 basis point to 1.09 percent.
The average money market account yield is unchanged at 0.12 percent.
