Ineligible: Home Affordable Refinance

Although you are ineligible for the Home Affordable Refinance program, you may be eligible for the government's Home Affordable Modification program. You can take another Bankrate quiz to find out.

If you find that you are not eligible for either government program, the government recommends you talk to your mortgage servicer or a HUD-approved housing counselor about other options, including forbearance or an individualized repayment plan designed to fit your financial circumstances.
