Who were the highest-paid CEOs in 2014? It depends on how you do the calculations.
According to the Bloomberg Pay Index, Nicholas Woodman, CEO of GoPro, earned the most, thanks to an enormous payout from the company's initial public offering in June. His restricted stock units delivered a whopping $284.5 million, but his actual paycheck is unlikely to stay at that level in future years. In 2013, for example, his reported salary was $800,000, and he also earned a $1 million bonus, according to Bloomberg.
