Revolving credit, a category of debt composed mostly of credit cards, fell for the third consecutive quarter, according to the latest Federal Reserve Consumer Credit survey. Americans reduced their revolving debt by $5.3 billion in June to a new total of $917 billion. Revolving debt has declined by about $10 billion since April.
