Bankrate's 2013 Credit Card Cash-Back Rewards Survey included the BankAmericard Travel Rewards.

With the BankAmericard Travel Rewards, cash rewards are available in the form of a check, an electronic deposit to a checking or savings account of your choice, a contribution to an eligible Merrill Lynch Cash Management Account, or a payment to an eligible mortgage loan.

Notes:
  • Enjoy an annual 10 percent customer points bonus on your total purchases when you have a qualifying Bank of America account.
  • Earn 3 points per dollar (consisting of 1.5 base points and 1.5 bonus points) for the first $6,000 in airline purchases (up to 9,000 bonus points) made at the Bank of America travel center each calendar year. All other purchases made at the travel center, excluding insurance purchases, will receive 3 points per dollar with no limit on bonus points.
  • If the primary applicant for this card has a checking, savings or retirement account with Bank of America N.A., a Cash Management Account, Merrill Edge or any other account with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. or U.S. Trust, the card account will receive an annual bonus points award of 10 percent of the amount of net purchases (or 1 bonus point for every $10) made with the card during the year.
  • Cash rewards are available in the form of a check, an electronic deposit to a checking or savings account of your choice, a contribution to an eligible Merrill Lynch Cash Management Account, or a payment to an eligible mortgage loan. Cash-reward checks expire 90 days after date of issue.
  • Redemption: 2,500 points = $25/2,500 increments.
