Here's a look at the state of CD rates from Bankrate.com's weekly national survey of large banks and thrifts conducted Feb. 3, 2010.

CDs

Yields: 0.77 percent (1-year CD yield); 2.1 percent (5-year CD yield)

In this week's roundup of interest rates, CD yields were up slightly for longer term maturities and flat for one-year CDs.

The average yield for one-year CDs remained at 0.77 percent, while the yield on the average five-year CD jumped 4 basis points to 2.10 percent.

With a deposit of $100,000, the yield on the average jumbo one-year CD is 0.82 percent, down 1 basis point from last week. The average five-year jumbo yield is 2.12 percent, as it was last week as well.

Money market accounts clocked in at 0.24 percent for the third week in a row.
