Dear Terry, I recently bought a 2007 Nissan Sentra. The dealer did not give me the sticker that was on the car which listed the price and all the amenities that went with the car. He said he'd get me a statement, but it would not have the VIN number that my car had. I wanted to see how the actual asking price matched with what I really paid. Do I have a right to the original sticker listing what comes with the car? I never saw it before we negotiated, which was dumb. But they were getting me a car with the color and items that I wanted. So I never checked to see if it resembled the price of the one that I test drove. -- JeanneDear Jeanne, Under federal law, all new vehicles must have a factory window price-sticker called a Monroney. It should list all the options and the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Your car, if it was bought new and not used, should have come with one that matches the VIN on your car. If your car was used, there would be no Monroney.
