More fuel-efficient than ever, SUVs and crossovers are growing in popularity with consumers. In fact, light truck sales, a category that includes pickups and SUVs, have increased over the past six years -- even as gasoline prices surged.
At the 2015 New York International Auto Show, running through April 12, carmakers pulled the wraps off several redesigned SUVs and crossovers that will suit every need -- from driving to work to tackling the trails.
Bankrate's favorites from the show floor include refreshed rides from GMC, Hyundai, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz and Mitsubishi. Expect these vehicles to arrive at car dealers later this year.
