For the 2010 model year, the Lotus Exige S240 introduces some key improvements designed to enhance its appearance and improve its world-class aerodynamic performance. A restyled front end and new larger, composite rear wing help reduce drag while giving the Exige a more muscular look. A new front integrated air intake helps funnel more air through the radiator for more efficient engine performance. Renowned for its exceptionally low weight, the Exige combines extraordinary power output with surprising efficiency. Equipped with a 240-horsepower, 2.4-liter supercharged engine, it posts a phenomenal zero-to-60 time of just 4.1 seconds. Yet, at the same time, the Exige returns an EPA-estimated 26 mpg in highway driving. Taking a cue from lessons learned on the track, Lotus has added a variable traction control feature, allowing the driver to adjust power output from a standing start as well as the amount of traction control desired.
