Bankrate Audio » Location Tour Of Top TV Shows

So, there's a TV show you can't miss, you've liked it on Facebook, you read all the blogs about it, and you plan to buy all the episodes when they're available. Maybe you can be a fan on vacation, too, because there might be a tour. I'm Doug Whiteman with your Bankrate.com Personal Finance Minute.
Popular shows including "Breaking Bad," "Mad Men" and "Boardwalk Empire" have inspired tours in the cities where the programs are set. On ABQ Trolley's "Breaking Bad" tours around Albuquerque, New Mexico, you see location sites such as the house that doubles as the home of the show's lead character, everyman-turned-violent-criminal Walter White. "Downton Abbey" fans can take a tour from London to the castle where that program is filmed, and they're still giving "Lost" tours in Hawaii to places seen on the popular adventure drama that went off the air in 2010. Many people plan vacation travel based on places they've seen on TV, helped by websites such as OnLocationVacations.com, which point out filming locations.
