Home price changes in major U.S. markets

Click on a state to view a chart
showing the median price, in thousands of dollars, for metropolitan
statistical areas -- that is, the main city and its surrounding
area. The National Association of Realtors collects this data quarterly.
This chart compares home values from the fourth quarter of 2000
with the fourth quarter of 1999. Not all cities reported their information,
so some major metropolitan areas are left out.
