Borrowing cash to save pennies not worth it
 

Dear Terry,
I have enough money to pay cash for a new car but I can earn 5 percent on that money and get a car loan for 4.74 percent. Should I pay cash or invest the money and get a loan for the car?

Dear Tim,
Pay cash for the car. You never know what will happen with the economy or your income and the quarter percent difference you would earn isn't worth it.
