How do you obtain your information?
Our research department faxes and phones the lending institutions. A total of 4,000 institutions are surveyed weekly in 120 markets and all 50 states and Puerto Rico and the database is updated Monday through Friday nights.

Will Bankrate.com disclose any of my personal information?
We will not disclose any of your personal information unless the law requires it, or to protect the rights or property of Bankrate.com. Some personal information such as your name, email address and ZIP code are needed to receive our free newsletter. All other information is used to help us tailor our site to our target audience. How do I access past articles ?
There is a link to News archives on the navigation bar to the left of each page. The articles are organized by topic for your convenience. Additional stories on each topic can be accessed by clicking within the News archives to More (mortgage, ATM, etc.) news.

How often is the site updated?
The news content is updated Sunday through Thursday nights. The rates are updated Monday through Friday nights. Both the stories and the rates for each institution include a date indicating when the information was posted.
