By
Bankrate.com
Getting a credit card is relatively
easy. Many companies offer limited credit lines with high
interest rates, and most don't require a minimum income. If
used wisely, credit cards lead to a respectable credit report
and make it easier to purchase a car, rent an apartment and
even buy a home. If used haphazardly, credit cards get you
into a heap of trouble.
