The 10 least valuable college majors

Students who want to earn more and have better job prospects may want to avoid some college majors.

Bankrate’s list of least valuable college majors uses a methodology created by Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce. We looked at more than 170 majors, comparing median incomes and unemployment rates among those holding bachelor’s degrees in each.

We count down to the degree on the very bottom. Note that the median income for all bachelor’s degree holders is $62,217.
