LeAnn Rimes headed for Hillbilly Heaven
Newly-married singing star LeAnn Rimes, who worked hard to convince
everyone she's not just a country singer, is unloading her gated compound in
the hills of West Los Angeles so she can move to -- where else? Nashville.
Asking price is just under $2.5 million.
The singer, 20, and her dancer-writer husband, Dean Sheremet,
plan to start a family. The "Blue" yodeler bought her L.A. home just
before Christmas 2000. She married Sheremet a few months later.
The four-bedroom home is on about an acre of land and includes
a 3,400-square-feet main house, a pool and boasts a 1,500-square-feet detached
studio, media room, apartment, four-car garage and wine cellar. It was built
in the '50s, but recently remodeled.
