According to the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association's 2007-08 National Pet Owners survey, basic annual expenses (food, kennel boarding, routine vet, groomer, vitamins, treats, toys) for a dog averaged $972 and for a cat $627. Bankrate wants to know how much you spend on your pet's living expenses.
