Work a job, but with limits

At 14, job choices and the number of hours you can work are limited to 18 hours during the school year, a maximum of three hours on a school day. Once you turn 16 years old, there are no federal restrictions on your working hours. But certain hazardous occupations remain off-limits and some common tasks also are forbidden. Find out the labor rules in your state.
