Does your brick-and-mortar bank have a Web site that allows you to view balances and pay bills online?
Which is more important:
Visiting my branch so I can conduct bank business face-to-face.
Paying $5 or less a month to keep a high-interest checking account.
When you have a dispute with your bank, are you comfortable resolving it over the phone with a customer-service representative?
Absolutely not. I want to talk to someone in person at a branch or the main office.
I'll accept the impersonal touch if it means I get a good deal on my checking account.
How do you prefer to make deposits?
I would rather deposit my paycheck with a teller or at an ATM.
I don't mind being paid by direct deposit or mailing a deposit.
