Like the Pontiac Grand Prix, the Olds
Toronado was a major styling statement when it debuted. It
also was a major engineering statement: It was the first GM
front-wheel-drive vehicle.
That, combined with the demise of the
Oldsmobile label, makes this a potentially strong collector
car going forward.
One word of caution: Just because Oldsmobile
is history, that won't mean all Olds models will be collectible.
