But does it look as good from the rear?

Hollywood's hottest man is driving Hollywood's hottest car. The new "it"
car, the Mercedes-Benz G500, is being piloted by the "it" man of the
past decade, actor Brad Pitt. He's not the only one of Hollywood's elite jumping
in the super SUV wagon. Academy Award winners Diane Keaton and Benicio Del Toro
and musicians Fred Durst and Eric Clapton have also been seen in the driver's
seat of a G500.
While most SUVs were created for show and mall parking lots, the
G500 is a true off-road vehicle. Standard features include TeleAid telecommunications
service, dusk sensing headlamps, headlamp high-pressure washers, nine speakers,
memorized settings for three drivers, wood and leather trim, trip computer,
full-time 4-wheel drive and cargo tie downs.
It sells for $73,896. Optional for $140 are navigation CDs for
the United States and Canada. But at the price you're paying, you may be better
off saving that $140 and tipping the clerk at 7-Eleven a buck to tell you where
you are.
