While it definitely seems like poor timing, given the rising price of gasoline, Cadillac is introducing a new, mega-horsepower version of its popular CTS sedan, which was redesigned for 2008. Labeled the CTS-V, the sedan will feature a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 making 550 horsepower. Equipped with a heavily modified suspension and upgraded interior, the CTS-V will likely sticker for at least $55,000. It will be made in limited numbers and is designed to appeal to the crowd that shops for AMG Mercedes-Benzes and M-Series BMWs. We don't know the fuel mileage numbers, but suspect that anyone who buys this car won't care.
