The price of gasoline has many consumers shopping for cars that squeeze the most miles from a gallon. Using an average of the EPA city-highway projected mileage numbers, we list the most fuel efficient gasoline-powered vehicle in your favorite body style.
 Dodge Caravan MPG: 17city / 24 highway
Dodge Caravan   Thanks to its smaller 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine, the Dodge Caravan (not to be confused with the larger Grand Caravan) gets top marks for fuel economy and is rated superior in its impact on the environment by Greenercars.org. What buyers should consider, however, is that the more powerful, better equipped minivans from Honda and Toyota also have the same ratings. MSRP: $19,055.
 Toyota Sienna MPG : 17 city / 24 highway
Toyota Sienna   Even equipped with its standard 266-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, the Sienna still manages to deliver better-than-average fuel economy numbers as well a garner a superior rating for its environmental impact by Greenercars.org. MSRP: $24,155-$37,665.
Honda Odyssey MPG: 17 city / 24 highway
Honda Odyssey   Long the class co-leader in the minivan segment with Toyota's Sienna, the Odyssey, with its 244-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, delivers identical fuel mileage and environmental impact ratings. MSRP: $25,645-$39,095.
