| For those unfamiliar with the
Suzuki lineup -- dealers can be rare outside of big cities -- it may come as a
surprise to find that there are six different models, including two SUVs. New
for 2005 is the Reno, a four-door economy hatchback that Suzuki buys from Korean
manufacturer Daewoo. Prices start at less than $14,000 and it's well equipped
for the money.
The bargain-priced Aerio, which starts at less than
$14,000, gets minor exterior changes and a new instrument panel.
The compact Forenza sedan, introduced in 2004, receives a wagon
version, which is a rare model in the sub-$16,000 price range.
The midsized Verona sedan, and the two SUVs -- the compact Grand
Vitara and larger XL-7 -- also are unchanged.
