Lincoln pickup to chase Escalade

After the complete failure of the Lincoln Blackwood
pickup, which looked snazzy, but had a covered pickup bed with almost
no utility, Lincoln tries to get back into the pickup market with
the Mark LT four-door pickup, which is available this spring as
a 2006 model.
Designed to compete with the pickup version
of Cadillac's Escalade, the Mark LT has a conventional but short
open pickup bed and in essence is a Ford F-series pickup with Lincoln
luxuries.
The Navigator gets a new 300-horsepower V8 coupled to a six-speed
automatic transmission, as well as minor exterior trim changes.
