The six-model Hyundai lineup is expanded for
2005 by the Tucson, a compact crossover SUV that will be positioned
below the Santa Fe.
It's based on the Elantra chassis and comes
standard with a 140-horsepower four-cylinder engine.
A 173-horsepower, 2.7-liter V6 is optional,
as is all-wheel-drive.
Prices will start at about $18,000 and run to
more than $23,000 for a top-of-the-line model.
