Futurist Alvin Toffler, together with his wife, Heidi, has written the best-sellers "Future Shock" and "The Third Wave,"
as well as the recently released "Revolutionary Wealth."
He has served as a visiting professor at Cornell University, a faculty member of the New School for Social Research, a visiting
scholar at the Russell Sage Foundation and has won the McKinsey Foundation Book Award for Contributions to Management Literature.
He serves on the Advisory Council of the U.S. Comptroller-General, has been elected a Fellow of the American Association for the
Advancement of Science and is a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
In France, where the Tofflers' work has won the prestigious Prix du Meilleur Livre Etranger, he has been named an Officier de L'Ordre
des Arts et Lettres. Recently, Chinese news publication People's Daily named Alvin Toffler one of 50 foreigners who have had the greatest
influence on China in recent centuries.
In 1996, with business consultant Tom Johnson, the Tofflers co-founded Toffler Associates, an advisory firm that works with businesses,
governments and organizations around the globe.
