Site offers college students tips for staying credible

AT&T Universal Card gives college students a little credit.

The card issuer's Web site provides online credit applications. And for their technologically savvy cardholders, they even offer online statement summaries, online bill paying and some tips for establishing and maintaining good credit. But we think the best feature of the site is a budget calculator.

      Best bets:
  • Budget calculator: You can figure out where you stand financially. This calculator allows you to break down income and expenses by month, semester and year to see where your money goes.
  • Staying Creditable: Gives a list of ways you can establish and maintain good credit.
  • Credit Education: A collection of short blurbs about credit issues.
