With the economy improving, luxury SUVs and crossovers are growing in popularity with consumers. At the 2016 New York International Auto Show, running through April 3, carmakers introduced several redesigned luxury SUVs and crossovers for you to drive to work and tackle the trails. Here are Bankrate’s favorite luxury SUVs from the show.

On sale: Summer 2016
Features: The Infiniti QX70 comes with front fascia unique to the Limited model, a new grille design, LED daytime running lights, high contrast graphite- and stone-colored interior, special open pore wood trim with aluminum flake accents.
Performance: The QX70 has a 325-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6.

On sale: Summer 2016; Sport Hybrid model, late 2016
Features: The Acura MDX has a revised exterior and standard electric parking brake with auto brake hold. It comes standard with AcuraWatch safety technology, including collision mitigating braking with auto emergency braking.
Performance: The MDX is powered by a 295-horsepower, 3-liter V-6 on a gas-only model; its Sport Hybrid uses the same engine plus an electric motor to get 325 horsepower and 7 miles per gallon fuel economy improvement in city driving over the non-hybrid model.

On sale: A production version will go on sale in 2017.
Features: The Navigator concept comes with exterior styling inspired by luxury sailboats and yachts with Storm Blue paint and teak interior. It has 6 leather “Perfect Position” seats that adjust 30 ways, a custom wardrobe management system, power gull-wing doors and pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection.
Performance: This SUV is powered by a 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V-6 with more than 400 horsepower.

On sale: Late summer 2016
Features: The Grand Cherokee Summit has a revised front end, LED fog lights and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels. Its standard features include full leather interior, a 4×4 system, air suspension, auto-folding power mirrors, headlamp washers, and parallel and perpendicular park assist.
Performance: It gets its pep from a 3-liter V-6.

On sale: Late 2016
Features: The Mercedes-AMG SUV has exterior styling unique to the model, including a diamond radiator grille, high-gloss black and chrome accents, sport seats, all-wheel-drive, speed-sensitive sport steering and specially-tuned sport suspension.
Performance: It’s powered by a 362-horsepower, 3-liter, bi-turbo V-6.
