7 hybrid cars that are cheaper to own than their gas counterparts

A recent analysis by Vincentric, an organization that provides data about the auto industry, found that 7 of the 29 hybrids on the market for the 2016 model year have lower total ownership costs than their closest all-gasoline-powered counterparts. Although these 7 cars were more cost-effective mainly because of the fuel savings, Vincentric also found that 5 of these models depreciated at a slower rate than their gas counterparts, contributing to their overall cost advantage.
