Overview
Bend is a rapidly growing city in central Oregon dubbed
"a land of extremes and contrasts." Like many places
in the Pacific Northwest, Bend is known for its easy
access to adventurous outdoor activities. While an adrenaline-pumped
lifestyle is certainly available, so is a much more
relaxed one. The area has a formidable set of local
breweries and restaurants, as well as a very strong
local arts culture of museums, galleries and theater
companies. It hosts a number of local events and festivals,
including a hot air balloon festival. Below are the
prices you can expect to pay for various goods and services
in Bend.
